The Side Pusher Push & Pull system is an automated pallet exchanger designed to transfer goods from a Palletless system to any pallet (or vice versa). 

This automatic system is a major upgrade over the traditional Push and Pull attachment used on forklifts. It makes transferring goods between pallets faster and more efficient, reducing the need for manual labor and improving workflow efficiency.

In the traditional method, operators must manually attach and engage the equipment to move loads from one pallet to another, which is both time-consuming and labor-intensive. The automatic system simplifies this process, offering more precision and minimizing the risk of errors and product damage.

The Push & Pull System is specifically designed to assist with load transfer by gripping the slipsheet, ensuring that the load is transferred safely and efficiently from a pallet to a palletless system.

Soft neoprene foam padding on the fingers of the lateral pressers ensures that the product remains undamaged during lateral pressing, offering a secure and gentle handling process.

How does the pallet-changing cycle work?

As the machine activates, the pushing presser moves toward the product, and the two side pressers close once the product is reached. At the same time, the slip sheet is grabbed to pull the product, ensuring a smooth and secure transfer.

The stopping presser plays a crucial role in stabilizing the load as the blade is withdrawn, keeping everything in place for safe and accurate handling. 

The slip sheet holder operates effectively, keeping the slip sheet in position throughout the process, whether transferring from wooden pallets to palletless loads or vice versa. The chain conveyor lifts the product into the machine, while the pressers ensure the product is moved securely to detach the pallet, leaving only the slip sheet.

Once the pallet is detached, the load is positioned on the metal blade, and the stopping presser stabilizes it while the blade withdraws. As the cycle continues, the chain conveyor lifts to return the load to the conveyor, all while the next load is already positioned for the next operation, ensuring minimal downtime.
