V-Shape Logy is a fully automatic pallet changer system capable of handling products of various shapes, weights, heights, and types.

It is considered a timeless classic in the Toppy product range, as it was one of the first automatic solutions to change pallets automatically. Originally designed from scratch by the CEO and Production Director of the Toppy Group, V-Shape Logy has been tested and refined over the years.

The system can be integrated into existing production lines, high-bay warehouses, and specific applications.

This station cuts the wrap on the load, reducing risks and improving efficiency. Installed before the pallet changer, it can occur both on the sides of the product and underneath the pallet.

Depending on the customer’s preferences or project needs, we can provide an integrated slip sheet inserter with a dispenser that collects, positions, and transfers slip sheets, ensuring smooth handling and precise placement.

The system features two pallet magazines—one for stacking the origin pallets and one for dispensing the destination pallet—designed to streamline the pallet infeed and outfeed process for maximum efficiency.

The V Shape can be equipped with I-Beetle, our AGV that seamlessly handles the flow of both the origin pallet and the destination pallet fully automatically. Ideal for those who prefer to avoid roller conveyors and need to manage loads at ground level.

Depending on the customer’s preferences or project requirements, we can provide a dedusting cabin before the pallet exchanger machine to remove dust from the load and ensure safe entry into the white zone.

V Shape can also be designed fo changing pallets for products with slip sheets underneath. They can also transfer a product from a pallet to just a slip sheet or from a wooden board to just a slip sheet.  

How does the pallet-changing cycle work?

The entire pallet-changing process is fully automated.

The load is introduced into the “V-Shape Logy.” Once inside the system, the load is tilted by 120°. This causes the lower platform supporting the load to separate from the product while holding the original pallet to be replaced.

The original pallet is automatically transported to the designated pallet magazine. Simultaneously, a new pallet is retrieved from another pallet magazine and positioned on the lower platform of the “V-Shape Logy.”

At this point, the new pallet is tilted back to 120°, ensuring it is securely attached to the load. The pallet-changing cycle concludes when the entire load is returned to 0°, now resting on the new pallet.
